Re: Sarah's Diary
Im not sure as to why she has got thinner?
If this pair dont work out have you got another female to try. Also maybe before letting them out give them alittle bit of food.

Leave them at it. It takes a few goes for the eggs to start dropping.

Re: Sarah's Diary
How long is a piece of string?????? Could take an hour could take all day.... I cant give you an answer hun, they will finish when they are ready..
She will swim away from the nest and if she goes back over or near it he will chase her away and possibly get very nasty with her..

Re: Sarah's Diary
will do, she looks pretty well considering, she has 2 bites and a few missing scales but otherwise looks ok.
I had a feeling as soon as i let her out that something was going to happen, he was acting alot differently with her, there was still flaring but in a diff way, he did a lot of swimming up to her and around her then back to the nest, she then followed, went like clock work really, because ive never done this before i dont know what to expect, very nerve racking though, and exiting.

Re: Sarah's Diary
Just had a peek at my male and it appears the whole nest of eggs has moved places not far just about an inch to the right is this normal,
And also the female is fine eating well, looks like shes recovered fine.
