Well here we go:

This is going to run for ages i can just tell, as the male just does not want to get his fin over lmao.

9th June: Scrubbed the spawning tank and have been feeding both male and female frozen blood worm, i filled the tank with water from the community tank and will leave the tank running over night, I have added fish tank cycle/and a water trement thing. So will leave tank runing over night and add the male tomorow (With kel's advice?). I only have some bubble wrap for the nest sight so will try that again .

i thought the tank cycle was a waste of space?

if your filter is already cycled add the male tonight

Well i have added it just incase, proberly is a waste of space.

10th June: I have added that male to his tank, and he seems very happy with it and has been blowing a few bubbles, i have also fed both parties blood worm .

I have now added the female into her little tub theres quite abit of flaring from both parties

Quick update, the female is looking really keen now, she has strong breeding stripes and has gotten fairly plump upon being with the male . Male has alittle corner of bubbles going.

Female has now been let out upon kels advice (thanks mate), and the male is now building his nest at last . Female is watching from the corner.

I remember my forst betta spawn. The female bullied the male and i had to re-chimney her. I released her the following morning and it went really well!

don't forget to rejar her before bed if they don't spawn by then

not worth the fin damage and more chance of them getting busy first thing tomz

is it over a heater? Tango built a massive nest but it was over a heater and the heat kept destroying the nest

Well he has another strong nest going now, and he is working very fast. It is above the heater although it was last time and it was massive.
