Just this second took her out, they had finished wrapping, and everytime she tried to poke her nose in the male chased her away, so I took that as the sign he was done with her! So she's now sulking in the girlies tank She's took minor damage, chunk of the anal fin missing and that's it! Quite impressed they have been a very good pair really! Got a couple of piccies, one of the nest and one of her, will post in a little while, birdies are shouting to be fed

He's a Butterfly, and is quite simular to Joseph who I lost, only not as strong with the turquoise colouring. And he's bad at all, he has a couple of gaps like she does going right up to the body so I need to watch that, but generally I think they have both come off pretty well! Considering the damage I was expecting, Im amazed!

Thinking back now, I think I might have been too quick to remove the original male, if I;d tried bringing in the nest with him I reckon I might have still had a result. Lesson learnt!

Thank you! My little boy is being a little trooper, and sitting underneath the nest. He's still for ages, then suddenly shoots off, darts about and then back up to the top, so I presume he's catching those that drop? He's such a good little daddy! Oh, and one thing I forgot to say as well, after they had wrapped, and the eggs dropped, once she recovered she was helping bring the eggs back to the nest with the male! Then they would wrap, and the same again. She is pretty amazing

Male frightened me this morning Woke up, and looked over, and he was on his side on the bottom of the tank soon as I went over to him he resumed Sentry duty, but for 1 split second there I thought oh no, I've lose him

He's probably exhausted lol It's hard work being a daddy!

Couldnt see anything this morning but should be swimming soon if I have any! Going to do a small water change tonight, so will take a good look then! Fingers crossed!

Saw one drop down, and another one darting up and down by the bubble nest OMG I actually have LIVE babies!
