Shadow, sorry if this seems ignorant, but i thought dad was a VT and mum looks HM . How have the fry ended up CT??? Well thats what they look like to me.

I guess the ct rays are coming from your male.. vt's aren't usually selected specifically for spawning and it's just a case of grab a male and grab a female see what they produce.

probably been a ct in the mix somewhere back in the gene pool

crowntail is also a dominant trait which is why you see the odd small spikes even on line bred halfmoons.

thats how the ct actually came about, breeding selective hm's with slight spikes and aiming for longer and longer spikes in the following generations

Went to Shadow's today to pick up some babies, they are so cute.. I cant believe the difference in the sizes of the babies, some are still so tiny you can only just see them lol and the others are massive!!!
I nearly very nearly stole his mustard gas male, a stunning fish, mind you they all are...

11/12? weeks i think, most were pretty slow growing due to the amount i had survive i gave around 40 away today and i done a rough count and i still got around 90 grrrrr

I have one here who quite literrally seems to be growing every time I look at him! Im sure it's going to be a him coz his fins are quite longer, looking longer than a typical female already He looks to be a blue so far, gonna be good fun looking after these!

One of mine was sent to the sin bin last night for being a bully!!!!! All other babies so far are behaving even the tiny wee ones lol..
