As some of you will have read i was conditioning Blizzard and Star the 2 white bettas, but after i dropped the tank lid into the breeding tank and destroyed Blizzards bubbles he's not built one since...i said i was very sorry!
So id noticed that one of Ninas girls (Sophie) had become more fat and eggy than usual and i wanted to try and spawn her with a CT male. So i put my red crowntail male in the breeding tank where nothing happened i even put Sophie near his tank to try and encourage him to build a nest, didnt work.
So last night i thought about stealing Sky's bubbles (he's always building nests!) so managed to transfer them into the breeding tank, he looked at them for a while seeing what on earth id put in there and so after a while he started adding to it.
This morning the bubblenest had grown quite a lot since the few bubbles i placed in there from the night before.
Sophie looked like she was going to pop so added her this morning before i had to go out. He's been fine with her no nipping she was actually chasing him at first but now they are both under the bubble nest, he's trying to wrap her but he wrapped by himself the first time but it looks like he's trying to get her in position to wrap and when he does attempt to wrap her she moves and slips out of his grip.
He's quite funny to watch as he keeps scanning the floor and looking round for eggs!

Iv just seen them wrap and the male pick the eggs up and put in the nest...
Sophie isnt helping to pick them up as she's just staying very still then when she snaps out of it he's already picked the eggs up!
