Storm's First Spawn

Well after a stressful few days, the 2 of them got it on this afternoon. Spawning started at 11.45 and stopped around 13.45. During that 2 hours is was amazing, at first i thought oh no its going to be a failed spawn as none of the parents seem to know what to do. However after a few wraps mum came to the rescue and started collecting the eggs and spitting them in the nest .

Then after half an hour both parents were working as a team, and it made me so happy. Although as dad got the hang of it she let him get on with it.

So now its the waiting game, and hopefully there will be some wrigglers soon.

As for pictures i aint got a camera sorted, so i will slowly start sending them to kel of Liam.

Ive already done water change after spawning with kels help. I was shaking pmsl.

just wait til they hatch.. think it was bad now you're in for a major shock lol

Right guys the nest is massive and the thick egg pile is gone, now i don't know if they have been eaten or spread out.?

Only time will tell lmao, i turned the filter on very low for half an hour before just to get some of the crap off the top. It was on very low and i kept a very close eye.
