Update on Black Orchid CT's

Well just been to feed my ct babies again, and there seems to be LOADS of them LOL I've only ever counted about 10-15 so was quite surprised tonight when I counted at least 30! They seem to have all come out a sudden! And double in size now to when they were born, can see them without the magnifying glass now LOL

Well what I did with the red hm's seems to have worked well, once they got to a certain size I bought them down into the bigger tank, and they will be ready to go soon! Shall do the same with this lot once they are ready, so chuffed! Two spawns now! And the best bit is the male is doing fantastic!!!! PHEW

Wll get some pics soon as some are getting to the stage that you can see them better LOL Im at the stage I seem to have lost a few over the last few days, not really sure how many are there at the moment, but once I've moved into another tank will know for sure. Some of the bigger one's are very dark already!

How old are these fry Mandy? Are the parents from Nina? I have some girls from here and they are constantly ginornmous with eggs, lol! Can't wait to see baby pics, crowntails are the best!

The dad is one from Kel, and the girlie is one of Nina's yeah My little gal is always full with eggs, two weeks after she's spawned she was huge again LOL I reckon she'd be ready for it pretty much constantly if I had the room!

These babies were spawned early Sept, so about 3 weeks old now? Stil only diddy, but it's about a month that I transfer them to another tank

I know I know LOL, just they are so small the pics dont work so well lol especiallt when they are darting about! haha

Right just done a tank move on my remaining babies - I seem to have a mad loss over the last few days so I knew something was going on. Have moved them now to another tank, and I only have 6 left But on the plus side, the one's that are left all look healthy, and one of the biggest now has his baby stripes Very sweet!

Awww sorry about your losses Mandy, but I bet you have the 6 healthiest strongest babies of the bunch :-) Hope you can get some pics soon! :-D x
