got her out easy.waited till she was the other end of the tank and got her out with a small net smoothly = no damage.

Re: SPAWN TODAY
he's definately a winning nest builder!
btw.. is that a filter in the background?
If it is then you'll probably need to remove it for the fry.

I could not believe my eyes Kel:-)the nest more or less covered all the tank in just one night.
As for the filter.yes it is a filter.this spawn was not planned fo this pair,I was aborting a spawn with the female and another HM male,as all he wanted to do was eat her.eggs were falling from her while she was trying to avaide the male,so I removed her in a jar and placed her in another males tank.dropped the water level, internal filter off, light on all night.woke up to a MASSIVE nest :-)
just did no want to mess around yesterday so not to disturb them or the nest.I think I may be able to slide it up with the suckers without disturbing the nest.the eggs are only 12hrs old ish so I have time to do it laters :-)

Re: SPAWN TODAY
the fry are 1week 4days now.
1st feeding of micro-worm this morning.feeding them 3 times a day 2xBBS and one micro-worm.changing 20% of the water each day, still relying on my apple snails to clean the bottom.
aswell as going to work full time and keeping up duties with my 17 other bettas.....i need a fishroom
post pics at the weekend when iv more time.

thanks.the pics were before the spawn.the male is still really quiet low, just cant seem to snap him out of it.ive tried a pinch of salt, daily water changes about 30%,various foods live frozen, put other males near his tank to flare at.
but he is still really slow and just stares at the top of his tank of some time??

Re: SPAWN TODAY
The fry are looking good Just to compare notes, what are you feeding them at the moment? I have a spawn on the same day as yours and they are on BBS and microworms now. Mainly microworms. I'm still having die offs at about 5 a day.
