12 New LFS Females

Returned to my LFs today after seeing they had females on Wednesday, they went on sale yesterday, so i popped up this afternoon (5pm) to get some, came home with more than i expected too as they were 6 for £5.50

still can't understand it, the 4 that have died looked the healthiest of the bunch!

Thats what i had happen when i was away my healthy bettas died and the ones that looked to be on their last fins survived, i just dont understand either

Only 12? I'm sorry the 4 died on you so quickly, but at least the others are in better hands
now and hopefully will survive under your care.

I'm of the opinion that (and I'm echoing Chard here) a few copper pennies in the tanks goes a long way in helping to keep them healthy.

Is your LFS a maidenhead or independent shop?

Hard to find any female bettas around here!

Its an independent shop, they very rarely get females here too, i ask everytime i go in. just happened to pop down with my partner as he needed some fish food and there was a tank full


All still ok so far, will get pics of the remaining 8 tomorrow after lots of water changes!
