I'm a sucker for just about anything shiney! I guess that's why I have Gold, Copper; Platinum and Dragons. You might want to keep some sunglasses handy with those girls!

Wow. When are you sellin them?

Hopefully about April time, im waiting for them to be around 6mnths, but its more size depending, they may go sooner, there getting quite big.

How much you selling them for?

I think there just called 'Feeding cones' lol, I get them from a private aquatic store locally to me, have not seen them in MH aquatics, they prove to be very useful when feeding alot of fish, & u don't want alot of it falling to the floor uneaten. Even though I just tend to chuck food over the side lol.

It's been alot of hard work as its my first big spawn (or spawns) 60+ fry, and i wasn't fully aware of the amount of work needed for so many fry, all my previous spawns were quite small in numbers (10-15), but my god have i loved seeing these guys grow up when i get a moment to step back and look for a minute.

I will be selling, obviously after ive picked mine for keeps


I haven't thought at all about methods of selling, costs etc as yet, im just busy keeping up with there routines and maintenance.

You should have no problems selling them. I'd be interested myself if it weren't for space,
money and the customs hassles with a transhipper.

I emailed one locally to inquire and I never received a response. I suppose I could try again
sometime. Hmmm?!

I'd be very interested in one of the blue and yellows (whichever is next best after your favourite fella ), could you please PM me with some details? They'll all look even better in a few weeks when their fins have filled out some more, congrats on such lovely boys!

i would start selling some of the bigger ones now mate.. you have 60 so even if you kept 20 yourself it will still take time to sell the rest.

looks like you have a few up to size now but runts will be ages behind the biggest and much harder to sell.

the hard bit is letting go but if you wait too long you will be stuck with most of them just because of their age or lack of size.

got to start picking keepers out of the largest then sell the others, then do it again as the mid sized develop

I'd say they look ready to go now too... but that could be being biased by my impatience to get hold of one
