Haha yeah need those cams so I can have a constant feed of what's going on in there, cos Eros is getting REALLY fed up of me now. when I go in the bedroom he zooms over to the front of his nest, positions himself sideways so he blocks my view completely and flares madly at me

Thanks hun, now a lil concerned as the movement in the nest has stopped... do they just hang around after the initial wriggling bit of hatching? I hope he hasn't eaten the hatched ones cos can't see them, unless he's pushed them far up again the rest of the eggs have definite eyes

Posted on your other diary, but yes once their tails uncurl they go quiet for a bit, I assume they're soaking up their yolk sac and getting strongers to start moving properly. I find movement pics up within 24hours and soon they're wriggling and falling and trying to swim and driving dad mad ^^

Can only see 2 lol, but Eros is paranoid so maybe he's hiding them. He is still "cleaning" the babies and spits them out again so at least I haven't actually caught him snacking

LOL god knows how many are in there, he's got me in a wild goose chase that's for sure. Now even the one I saw has disappeared so I'm giving up trying to spy them now, it's clearly not gonna be easy due to the position of the nest and i'm just stressing Eros and myself out

I really hope I find some happy swimming babies tomo! Did 2 plastic cups worth of a water change and added a drop more meth blue - still under the recommended total dose for the water volume so the fry should be ok with it.

Not much to update tbh, as there's nothing to see i'm praying there is the one I saw yesterday still alive in there somewhere
