Lol, thanks you guys, Draco and Luna are my aquabid prize fish. I actually tried to do a spawn with them a few weeks ago, but they couldn't get in sync and they were each ready for each other at the wrong times. They wrapped right after Draco destoyed his nest, and then he got annoyed there was nowhere to put the eggs and eventually ate them all Shocked

but I learnt alot from that and hopefully the Spike/Clover fry will grow up nicely and I can try again with Draco and Luna soon!

Mars was the red devil FTHM on eBay. I really hate buying fish from eBay, but after about a month on my watchlist I emailed the seller with a list of specific questions, and the seller seemed pretty tight so I decided to take a risk and get him. I also got his sister for a fiver from that sale too, and they've both proved healthy and very nice fish, although very the male is a titch ^^

Ohhh that platinum pink HMPK boy was GORGEOUS, I was tempted by him too but Mars's face was just so grumpy and he looked like such a feathery puffball I had to give in ^^ Darren is a nice guy, we chatted about fish a bit as we messaged back and forth while I was debating whether to buy, he says he's done breeding bettas now though so looks like we got the last few gooduns off him.

Thanks very much for the compliments you guys :-)

The mossballs in the girls tank and the VT tank are ginormous!!! They're both now about the size of a large orange. The one in my VT tank is good because the ADF's love burrowing under it and peeping out.

I divided the males tank using plastic craft mesh (from Hobbycraft) and flat-back binders, which I then put into the tanks and sealed them in place with a few blobs of aquarium sealant (I say I did, but really it was my other half, lol). I have a Fluval 2+ filter with a spray bar on the output spout which squirts water into each divide. I got the tank for £21 off eBay, so the whole setup was quite reasonable to set up!
