Hello from the States

Hi everyone!

I just joined so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Jackie, I live in Georgia, USA. I've been keeping bettas as pets for 6 years now and will be taking my first steps into breeding this coming June. I'll be breeding a Multicolor HM pair and a Marble HM pair. Both males were 1st place winners in their class at the IBC show I purchased them from.

Currently I have 14 bettas. Of those I have 5 VT, 5 HM, 2 CT, and 2 HMPK. I also have 2 foster bettas right now (both VT males) that will be going to their new homes in a few weeks. I'm very involved in betta advocacy and often times have 1 or 2 rescues in my house. I'm also involved in GBBA which is our local betta association affiliated with the IBC.

As for non-fishy friends I have one dog, a female Boxer mix named Bella, and two cats, Malo and Jake.

And please do give us all updates of the ibc rules and changes... hard to keep an up to date track on them here in the UK
