Homebred DTHM Female

AS the title says this is my homebred DTHM female from my Dreamcatcher Spawn which hatched on the 18/10

She is 1 of 2 fry remaining which i am very happy with being my 1st spawn, i have this lovely lady *Junior* and a HM female too who is a lot smaller!

Her colour is changing a lot over the last week *Dad had marble gene* so will try post pics in order

She's a cutie!

Not a huge success as i only ended up with 2, but i said all the way through am happy with 1 reaching this age so 2 is even better got a few more spawns planned now

Now i am thinking Junior may be male! Been extra aggressive today, has a beard which i saw for the 1st time! and reacts to a mirror


Any opinions

I would say you may possibly have a male there, the ventral fins are quite long for a female, & usually the flaring at the mirror is a good give away, I've found that females don't usually tend to do that.
I would maybe seperate Junior for the time being, if he is a boy you don't want him nipping at others & see how you get on.
With the amount he's grown in that short space of time, you should know for certain quite soon.
He/she is lovely looking though! You've got a lil diamond there.

Today I am certain Junior is indeed Male and it seems many agree so thanks Damo Still can't believe I raised him
