One of only three fry to have survived a case of velvet, he's looking more like his daddy every day. After losing the first spawn and most of the second, the father who was so mild mannered was completely torn to shreds in a matter of minutes by the last female I attempted to spawn him with. He died about a month later having never recovering from being chewed up so badly. I haven't been treating the son and two daughters any different than the rest of my Bettas but I do pay them a little more attention. I think they are big enough that I can get a spawn out of them now. Here's the sole male survivor. Re: Blue Devil
He does take after the father. Good luck with the spawn.
