    Hello,

My names Richy. Yesterday me and my partner recieved a Betta from Kelly. He is a wonderful red, black and green halfmoon. He is enjoying his time in his new 35l Arc tank, swimming through the live plants and taking a rest on top the filter. This morning he blew himself a bubble nest, I was amazed to see how quick he recovered from his travels and made himself at home.

I have kept Betta's in the past, with the intention to breed but it never happened. I have never had male blow a bubble nest as big as this before, so hopefully with the right girl, we may be having some fry in the not so distant future.

I will hopefully be getting some pics of this guy.... well, if he stays still longer enough for me to take some haha!

If you have any questions to ask, please do Smile

    Take care,

    Richy~

Hi Richy and welcome! We have lots of experienced people to help you with a spawning if you need it. Don't hesitate to ask questions. I went by Richy up until my late teens and that's what my oldest son goes by now. Pictures are an absolute must! So post 'em if you got 'em. (or when you get 'em)

Here he is, couldn't get any good pictures of him. If only he would stay still long enough Smile

Is he mainly red, blue or black? Razz Who knows when the light shines!

Are you sure he is a HM, Kel? He looks more like a SD?

he's still got atleast 4-6 weeks of obvious growing to do, after that it willl be very slight.

He's young enough to still have plenty of meals a day without causing him and hassle.
