6 new additions

I went to one of my local fish stores today, its not the most local one but not far away, just for look they usually only have veil tails, but to my suprise they had a tank full of plakats so i bought four and i also came away with two hm line males long finned one is a red dragon and the other is a red copper, i may sell the 2 hm's on, and poss 2 of the plakats but will keep them for now as they all need a bit of tlc,

Yes and a lfs that only ever seems to have veil tails so nagging them has worked, they had more there was what i think was a mustard gas hm line at least another 2 like the long finned ones i got but with a little fin damage ang about another 10 plakats all with slight fin damage, i did well to restrain myself and only come home with 6, im itching to go back for more.

My other 2 new arrivals have just arrived from mandy, they were well worth waiting for, the dragon female looks even better in the flesh she is gorgeous and is now the best female i have, the new cambodian male is just making his self at home having a good flare at his new neighbour,

How lovely Great find! One of the pet shops in my area has all veils but if they're an off color or have a damaged tail they will try to market them as something else. There was a red veil and his poor li'l tail was half eaten and they tried to market him as a pk.

Truly unknowledgeable people who own the store. They had a bunch of baby rats and had them labeled as "rat cubs" and had them in the same containment as 2 chinchillas. Maybe they get along okay but if you're running a pet shop seems like you wouldn't do that lol.

Anyway, the pk is definitely my fav! I wasn't so much a pk fan until late. They're sorta growing on me.

Im so glad you are pleased with them, it's always a worry if people are going to like the fish! Have you seen the camodians eyes? Arnt they stunning? Do all cambodians have eyes like that, I thought they were all black.
