He had a small hole in his tail in the pic, that has now gone and he has grown and filled out a bit,

Can i ask where do you get your bettas from?, they are beautiful.

I live in Lancashire so if you are in Yorkshire you're not too far away from me Smile

The 2nd betta is gorgeous not suprised you got first, well done. Where are the betta shows?

I get most of my fish from ferrybridge aquatics i am also on their show team we are in the yorkshire league Y.A.A.S.

He does struggle to get good quality bettas, the ones he has in at the minute are veil tails and def not show or breeding quality, i only paid £4.50 for all my fish exept the won that got a 1st place that was £7.25.

I also get some from nautalus aquatics near wakefield but again its abit hit and miss as to weather or not they are good quality bettas.

I am on the look out for some quality bettas for showing my self, dont mind paying good money for quality fish

    Thanks Sarah,
i dont get much choice here in Wigan at the moment as i go to Pier Aquatics who do stock show betta pairs from time to time but mainly stock VT's, i get my female bettas from there too

My Maiden head aquatics have stopped stocking them so i need to travel to Widnes MH aquatics as they stock a wider range of male bettas.

I also look on ebay but not a lot of nice bettas that i want from there.

I cant wait to see your others bettas when you get photos of them

I would pay good money if i could only get quality bettas. Smile

The one last week was mostly plakats out of about 18 fish there were only 4 long tailed types the rest were plakats, one of my team mates has been showing them for over a year and he gets more placings for his plakats than long finned types
