It can be used, but be very careful as this can pollute your water hun. Live food will be the best micro-worms or baby brine shrimp

Ah poo I was hoping it would be OK. I really dont know how good Im gonna be at raising the shrimp or the micro worms - I did look at them too on ebay and thought hmmmmm.

its ok to use in the first week but after that you really want to be using bbs
some people use the atison's starter food or just powder pellets to feed but imo most of the fry are slow to take non-living food and will die off pretty rapidly in the first few weeks
also you are increasing the risks of fouling up the water which again will cause a lot of them to die off.

infusoria is easier for fry up to a week, chuck a nana skin in a glass of water in front of a window and the cloudy water should be infusoria
