Red Copper HM Spawn

Well this copper pair had been together 3 days up until today, this was there 4th release and just as I was about to trap the female as I left for work they started wrapping! Left them to is *spent the whole time at work worrying!* Came back they'd finished both 100% fine Females out with 1 tiny little split so very pleased. Not a great deal of eggs looks to be about 50 odd but they look bigger than my last spawn. Anyway enough babbling heres the pics

No pics of the eggs as Dad has moved them behind the cup now, they started inside of it then into the big nest pictured now round the back lol *still 100% there *

I said i had one similar to this but from this picture he is alot redder than mine. Id say mine was more 'brown metalic'. Mine is definately rosetail im a bit unsure about yours from this pic.

Was about to say that pic is not good with his tail shape, will find another He is very red thats kind of what drew me too him I love red

Im definately not claiming to be professional in this but as far as im aware 'Rosetail' has excessive branching and overlapping in all finnage. The second picture shows this better (the paler rays on the caudal fin) The top half of the caudal looks more like rosetail than the bottom, but it must be because of the angle of the fish. Also as far as im aware 'feathertail' is an extreme version of rosetail, so feathertail id say he wasnt.

If i was selling him i would say hes a rosetail. But like i said before 'im no professional'

A good buy for a SuperDelta then because he has a 180 degree caudal to go Halfmoon. I have several Halfmoons that have a scalloped edge to their caudal fin like he does. That, in my book; doesn't make him a Rose tail.

Chard your the expert so thats good enough for me I knew he was HM thats why I brought him and I loved his colour

Ha ha! These are not the Halfmoon droids you are looking for. Move along. I have Red Copper Bettas but I was so disappointed in their caudal spread. I would spawn yours in a heart beat.

Will be moving them Today or over the weekend to set another spawn up

They look good but just not a lot of them. Are you going to spawn the pair over to get more fry or try another pair?

there's about 10 that I keep counting so possibly a few more will know a definite number when I move them in a few days. Would love to do them again but lost that particular female although I do have other Coppers

3 Weeks Moved them a few days ago there's 19 fit and healthy which I am very pleased with as I thought there was 10

Certainly is 18 are lovely and dark like this chap then I have my odd bod * there's 1 in every spawn I swear!* who is pure white

Doing well but very slow growing again, I have no idea whay I have this issue :/ will get some pics over the next week as there being upgraded again
