    Returned to my LFs today after seeing they had females on Wednesday, they went on sale yesterday, so i popped up this afternoon (5pm) to get some, came home with more than i expected too as they were 6 for £5.50 Razz

    Thats what i had happen when i was away my healthy bettas died and the ones that looked to be on their last fins survived, i just dont understand either Sad

    Only 12? I'm sorry the 4 died on you so quickly, but at least the others are in better hands

    I'm of the opinion that (and I'm echoing Chard here) a few copper pennies in the tanks goes a long way in helping to keep them healthy.

    Its an independent shop, they very rarely get females here too, i ask everytime i go in. just happened to pop down with my partner as he needed some fish food and there was a tank full


    All still ok so far, will get pics of the remaining 8 tomorrow after lots of water changes!
