    did you notice the silver/black marble female hanging round above the filter?

    i think she may have the giant gene as she is massive and very dominant over the others.ill try and get a vid of her only this weekend,see what yas think Smile

    some more of all my females together.i had to get a couple of ples as they kept eating every apple snail put in there Twisted Evil.im going to get a new 10gal for them and use the tank for the fry i have when they are older.

    Sounds good just didnt recognise the roots thats why i asked! lol!

    I just added drift wood to 2 of my tanks makes it look very natural but make sure you soak it long enough that the brown comes out of it as my 21 litre tanks water has turned a tea colour, although i think Sky likes it as he's since built me a few bubble nests.

    I soaked mine for an hour in boiling water, it was quite a small piece of wood so depending on the size depends how long to soak.

    What kinda plec is it? I only have the BN's, they need the wood as you know, i give them anything from the fruit and veg group as long as its not citrus fruits...mine tend to like cucumber, brocolli, banana, apple. Iv got them some carrot this week...
    Do you use the screwcumber screw things so that the fruit or veg doesnt float up?

    there BN`s if you look i the last vid you can see them,there only 1-2 inch.screwcumber where can you get these,last bit of cucumber i put in took a while to sink.only had them a week or so,to keep the tank algae free.looked up on them when i had the floating in the tank.lol.
    got a nice piece of DW today soaking as we speak. Smile

    I nuke a slice of cucumber for a minute then cool it down with cold water and it usually sinks
    right away. BTW I use water from a Brita as it supposedly removes over 98% chlorine.
