My new girls

These are the girls i ordered from Indonesia and the wrong colours came back...well i was told by phone call that i had a solid black hm girl and 2 solid red ct girls, so iv been picturing them in my mind what they would be like.

Went today and to my suprise they where nothing like id been picturing they look like this:

HM girl metallic blue with lovely light blue eyes:

What do you think of them?

I think the CT girls look like the girls i bought from Nina.

Regardless if a mistake was made I think they are gorgeous little girls! Congrats Nat!

The Blue female looks like some of my Blue Lace Black HM's but I only see a 2 ray caudal fin like a Veiltail.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

When she spreads her tail out it doesnt look hm so probably another mistake...

I'd be extremely P.Oed if I paid good money for a HM and got sent a Veitail. You should call them back and have issues with them!

I agree with Chard! Especially all the business you do with them. Store credit at the least!

how many rays does the first girl have?

If she has atleast 4 rays she'd be great for your black boy you got from me but in pic she does look 2 ray and possibly only pk

the ct's have mixed faults that are worth making sure spawning partners don't have if you want to breed better than you have.

red/black ct has very small tail spread but tidy body outline and finnage shape apart from tail spread and being normal double ray. ( i like her the most!)

orchid girl... better colour but body shape isn't, not streamlined on top and has big dip (possibly a kink) at tail base. rays look a bit fuller with a few slight extra splits and better tail spread but not as neatly spaced as the red/black girl

I mention only because you want to learn to spot whats good and whats not (pm me if need be babe)... they're still 100% better than the reds you were expecting! lol

Blue girl has 2 rays from what i can see so not HM as expected, paid £8.50 for her.

The CT girls probably wont be bred as i wanted some CT girls back in my sorority i love them despite their faults pointed out.

I would've loved a solid colour CT girl, but iv reordered a yellow ct girl (gave MH the indonesian would for the colours), asked for a green female and a white opaque CT breeding pair so il see what arrives!

Iv also enquired about a male SD that was at MH when i was there although they said it would be sold to another person that person hasnt been in touch with MH and the staff cant get hold of the customer. I said i would have taken him that day if he hadnt been someone elses but they've said if the person who orginally ordered him doesnt get in touch he's mine! He stunning black/metallic blue/green boy...iv got my fingers crossed i get him...selling him for £8.50 also!

In lieu of what happened I think they should just hand over the SD to you with a years supply
of food!

MH called today to my suprise the man who ordered the male said he didnt want the male as he wasnt black enough sooooo he's mine

@ Dave ~ im not sure when i be able to pick the little guy up maybe this weekend coming up dont know if my o/h is able to come to see us but if he does il be picking him up.
The little guy has been at the shop almost a month and a half...

@ Storm ~ you should work at Iceland to have a bank balance like mine, lol!! No i dont always buy the bettas myself thats what the o/h is good for...hehehe!!!!!
