My new male :)

He's only a delta but I just thought he was gorgeous, he's one from the shop where Andi works, and I just fell in love!

He is a pretty guy

I'm sure you've loads that are workable with him..
Is he black and white or pale copper marble bf now you have him home?

In normal light he's black white grey and silver, but in bright lights he has a copper sheen so gawd knows lol But I have noticed the banding on his tail which made me thing butterfly! I just love the sheen on him, Im in love with anything shiny (think I was a magpie in a past life lol), which is why Im persuing the shiny and dragon route!

his bottom black body colour should darken up soon... but I know when i saw him there's copper in his genes as well as the butterfly

copper is great to mix with as it will give heavy metallic on any dominant shades

bf will give you something different.. its dominant too but doesn't breed true so you get degrees of banding in fry from none to full diff colour fins.


Aim for increasing the tail span, ignore colours! want 6 ray girl min more than that is even better. Bigger ray count, more chance of hm fry

black is hard to keep but dragon genes are pretty dominant.

Remember the baby you looked at here and said was a girl hun? She has what I think is 8 rays and a very good tail span, she is pale bodied with red tail and fins, I was thinking of trying her with him, I know colours not ideal but with the copper that would mix nicely with the red in her?
