This morning all tails hanging down and dad is starting to look tired some fry keep whizzing along the surface and he's getting them and putting them back into the nest.

The babies and dad!
The babies are now fending for themselves and im looking after them, dad left them about half an hour ago he was tired and hungry!

Even though dad did an excellent job im afraid the babies didnt survive after dad was taken out but these fry seemed to be extremely small compared to what the fry usually look like in size when they first hatched...very weak.
But im putting it down to the female being young still, im hoping to breed the same couple in a few months when she's at least 7 months old.

I'm probably just worrying too much, but the fry are becoming increasingly difficult to spot in the tank.

So sorry to hear this Nat. I didn't know you had this spawn. Will keep fingers crossed for next attempt. I'd love to have some marble females in my tank!
