Hi all,
It's great to see all of your gorgeous fish pictured in your avatars!
I'm a very casual Betta owner, but there has never been any point in my life where I did not own at least one. I love them!
For a few years, I very absorbed in my Oranda aquarium while only owning one Wal-mart bought male delta tail Betta. But since my Oranda recently died (R.I.P. :[ he was my goofy buddy for years.) I am shifting my focus to bettas once again.
I'm in the process of upgrading my "monster's" tank. (monster = my walmart Betta. He grew so big that he doesn't even fit in those cups they sell them in anymore! It makes cleaning his tank difficult! I swear he's a mutant) from a 2.5g to a 3g. Not a very big upgrade, but I thought the tank was adorable.
So, my search for a pretty male to put in his old 2.5 brought me here. It's very nice to meet you all!
