Green dragon spawn hatched 10/8/11

Just a few photos of my recent small spawn, they spawned for 7 hours but couldnt get the hang of it until right at the end the male just couldnt keep a hold of the female in the wrap and when he did it was pretty much done!

This is the male he's a HM green dragon import:

Now they are hatched and the male ate all the unfertilised eggs im only left with 10+ they are now 2 days old:

Siobhan, they are so tiny, its so hard to remember really how small they are when first hatched...its their little eyes you see first,lol!

Ooh soooo tiny! Have you sorted out a number 9 for Siobhan yet? I would so love to have one that looks like dad,- but it would have to be a female version. Unless of course I can find somewhere to hide another wee tank

No he's not MG's are blue and yellow right? He's shiney green body and yellow with black edging to his finnage.

I think he would still be MG Nat, my purple & yellow is classed as MG she has a purple edging

The IBC wants us to call them Blue and Yellow or Purple and Yellow instead of Mustard gas because the term was copyrighted? I think. Someone originally had a Blue Betta with Yellow wash and couldn't get rid of it so they came up with a catchy name for it. I have Blue and Yellow, Green and Yellow; Brown and Yellow (Chocolate) as well as Gold and Yellow. Some of my Purple/Reds have Yellow instead of Red wash but I still refer to them as whatever color and Yellow instead of Mustard gas. The Thai and Indonesian breeders still use the term MG and probably will continue to do so. It's not like the original MG person can sue them all.

Here's 1 photo iv managed to get of one of the babies, i didnt expect to have any after my holiday away but they proved me wrong!

Very tiny still and white/clear which makes it hard to see them, but look closely at the photo and you should see a tiny body next to the dead leaf:

Perfect name! Even if i dont get any males from this spawn im going to spawn the same pair again when my 2 4ft tanks are set up

I certainly would breed them again just to see if they get it right. Nice looking pair Nat.

This is the little dragon double tail i was talking about they have just turned 1 month old already didnt even think they would get this far, but here's the little one:

3 0r 4 i think iv counted 5 all together! No changes in colour yet would really love some greens!

They are for their age!

These are still quite small for their age but i only have about 5 2 of which have started to look a grey colour and the DT is also turning a grey colour but there's 1 thats a brilliant white colour nick named Daz (like the washing powder,lol!) the other is still colourless!

have you got current pics to upload Nat? I just wish they'd hurry up and show sex and colour lol!!!
