This is now where all my small single tanks live! I finally have my kitchen back!

That looks like a nice setup. The bedroom invaded, yes but as much smoke as I create in the kitchen (not that I burn everything) I'd be afraid that I'd kill them from smoke inhalation!

Looks like a fantastic setup - I have most of my bedroom taken over by fish tanks at the moment..

I cant use my bedroom simply because there's no room with boxes stacked up from when i moved 2 years ago...still not unpacked!

And between the boxes is my king size bed and the Shelbys toddler bed there's a single path to walk in and out,lol!

I did manage to get a little bit of room for my 17 litre FRF square tank and put it on the cupboards for my special girls that iv kept from my last spawn.

Chard i only set the smoke alarm off if i do bacon under the grill, i better not do that anymore...

Looks great Nat i could do with one for all my fry tanks, am getting overrun with swordtails lol but the little 1 loves her babies

looks really good Nat. I wish I had the room for a set up like that. I'd get a couple and fill them with the tanks you've got on the bottom two shelves. I'm a sucker for everything matching. I do my husbands head in!

Very nice Nat. Most impressive. A few questions if you don't mind. Are the tanks filtered? Some tanks seem to have heaters but some don't seem to have any, is that right? What is the temperature for the tanks that don't have heaters? What is in the bottom of the tanks at the bottom most shelves? Are they just empty drawers? They seem to have some sort of handle on them. How often do you have to do water changes? Where did you source your tanks from? Sigh... I sound just like my 10 yr old daughter

1) Nope no filters in the tanks opted not to as i do regular water changes anyway and the filters i was using before made my water green despite water changes.

2) Thats right some do have heaters some dont due to the fact that in my house at this time of year my house gets very warm and so having alternate heaters in the tank means i can keep them at the right temperature. Even though the heaters have a knob to adjust heat i find that some tanks have been too warm even when turned down. Il be putting all heaters back into the tanks when it gets to October and its not as warm.

3) The tanks without heaters are the same temperature as the tanks with heaters at 28 degrees, i keep a close eye on the temperature in tanks without heaters.

4) They are draws where you can apparently keep food but i dont so they are empty, the draws in the smaller tanks futher up have the battereies in for the lighting.

5) Water changes are done every other day but siphoning poop off the bottom is done daily.

6) I bought these tanks from 'THE RANGE' for £25 you can buy them from ebay but they sell for way too much imo, thats not including P+P! I think they are really good, when you buy one you get the tank, a lid, the lighting and filter. The heater you need to buy yourself.

Yes Kel, the 5.5 litre ones

The white ones are the 3 litre FRF boxes which are perfect for the fry im waiting to post =)
