I do! It's a fabulous way to get the country together. Street parties! I've NEVER seen one, other than on tv! They're the thing of legend. It'll be wonderful!
I think, in the economic climate, it's time we had something innocent to celebrate about, something where there is nothing to argue over, nothing to prove, nothing to fight for. It's just pure, simple celebration. And one the whole country is invited to, for that matter. Enjoy it :-)

Me too, il be working that day public holiday or not! If i wanted it off id have to book it off as a holiday!
My parents are having a party with the kids as they did with me and my cousin when Charles and Diana got married.

Aw Storm, don't be such a grump! I'm working too, but it's still a happy time! A lot of people will be throwing parties and forgetting about their worries for this one day. Whether we're working or not, whether we're invited or not, it's nice to think that the country can be united for something.

I get the day off WITH PAY whoo hooo, i might watch it ive nowt against them, no street parties planned though
