Most people normally make them using roof tiles but i decided to have a go with slate discs like you get at garden centres because i couldnt get and tiles.

And finally in the tank

Just a warning if you make them remember to use aquarium silicone because the normal stuff is poisonous.
I use them for my BNs to spawn in and they seem to work alot better than coconut caves because they cans knock them out as easily when moving about in the cave.

Cheers. If you get the chance i would defiantly go for the roof tiles though. It took me ages to find bits the right size and was a right pain getting them lines up and filling in the gapes.

Thanks Kiz! I think I'll take the extra time and make them from odd pieces. I think I'd
just prefer them over uniformed roofing tiles. We have a landscaping yard that specializes
in rocks, slate, river rock and the such. River rock I can collect myself as we have many
rivers close by.
