| Theres quite a few different ways of making them but this is how i do it. First get the coconut :] [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then drill holes in the top to drain all the liquid and it helps the sink in the tank because they dont get air bubbles in them [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then sand or file off all the furry stuff on the out side. I use and electric sander and that works really well. You proberly should have done this before drilling the holes but i forgot to sand it at first :] Right half has been sanded [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All sanded [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]then cut it in half [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then scrape out the white insides. Make sure you scrape out the layer inbetween the white stuff and the shell because the first time i didnt and it spiked my water. I use a knife but a screw driver, chisel or something else sharp should work. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]All done [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then cut a hole off the front size depending on the size of the fish its for [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then use a file or sandpaper to smooth off the inside [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
