I have crossed a male copper HM to a female PK with wild-type colouring. The female has multiray branching in her caudal.

Videos of the two fish below. Sadly I lost the male - he got himself stuck between a floating tank and the front glass - the female is doing great.

Took this video this morning - I have sooooo many fry growing out!

I'm expecting long-fin, metallic youngsters. Guess I'll get a range of metallic colours over a chocolate body, various fin colours with plenty of red in them and probably delta to superdelta spread in the caudal.

    Who knows!

Sorry you lost the male, but happy to hear you have the fry. Sounds like a varied spawn and
hope it goes well from now on.

Yeah, the video was from when I first got him, his caudal was much longer by the time I bred him, so he was looking really good. Always sad to lose fish, but there's a little bit of him in each of his babies, so I'll have to do my best to keep them alive!
