I aquired 2 new additions yesterday both pufferfish, got them both off ebay but were local to me so collected them, bought them both along with their tanks one 45litre full set up and other one is a 30 litre full set up as well as the puffers for £20, they live alone in a tank each, one is a Turgidis pufferfish about 6inches in length and the other is a cutcutia pufferfish, they are adorable the smaller one is extremely friendly. It was really the tanks i was interested in and did intend giving the fish to a friend who has puffers but decided to keep them they are lovely

Just wondered what different types of food they can have the smaller one isnt that fussy but the Turgidis is very fussy he never seems to swim just sits at the bottom the last owner said thats all it did in the 12 months she had it, i got him some shrimp meat and he turns his nose up at it, he will eat live river shrimp but wont actually go get it he waits for them to come to him before he attempts to eat them, its the laziest fish ive ever seen, ive yet to see him swim. ive put some of those soft snails in as well,
