I do have a yellow DRCT female, called Clover. She's the mother of my current CT spawn and I have her in mind for another spawn with my iridescent gold male DDRCT. If I get any yellow females from this spawn I'll let you know ^^ Or I can stud Clover out to you if you get desperate LOL.

The fry will be 4 weeks on Wednesday. Clover herself was about 3.5/4months old when she spawned so she's still a young'un. She's a Thai import though so got to be a bit careful with her as imports are usually a bit more delicate, although she's a tough little chick.

Not sure on prices yet, just hoping they all make it to three months LOL. Price will probably vary depending on colour, but nothing extortionate. If you look in the Breeding Diary section, the Spike and Clover diary is mine and you can see the parents. I think most fry are going to be marbled, although I do have some that are pale and I assume they'll be yellow like Clover :-)

I had the same problem, not just with the Halfmoons until I made up some oak leaf tea and added to their spawning water. It lowers the PH and adds tannins and minerals to the water and I've had a 80 to 90 percent success rate. Up from 10 or 15 percent. My tap water is 8.2 and the oak tea is 5.8 to 6.2 so I add it about 3 or 4 parts conditioned water to one part tea. You can do the same thing with IAL or a bottled black water treatment.

plenty of live food.. isolated but let her see your male for 10mins a few times a day for 7-14 days. I find it easiest to keep the female in a tank beside the male who's conditioned in the breeding tank and a bit of card inbetween them for when you aren't trying to catch their interest.
