Im really interested in getting some cold water fish as in the 'goldfish' iv seen in the lfs but wondered if any of you guys could advise me which types are best...i do like the ones with the 2 tails but really dont like the ones that look like their eyes are going to pop!

I really like the Oranda's especially the Choc and Blue ones altho some do look like they have their brain out in the open

Answered on the other place too, but moors are lovely their eyes get really boogley as they get bigger lol

Moors can be very susceptible to disease (and are very dim), that one in the pic above is gorgeous though.

Really not keen on lionheads either, they always look like they're struggling to move without a dorsal fin, it makes me wince. I used to keep fancy goldfish as a teenager (before I knew about cycling etc.) and the various colours of orandas always seemed resilient and active, blue was my favourite. I love the fancy goldfish which are black with orange patches too.

I'm not so keen on fancies. They look so unnatural. Although, I love the colouration of the panda moors, but they look like something I'd snuggle up in bed with, rather than a fish.

Mind the sizes they reach, don't forget they are goldfish.
