Got to say, I really like the site, and all the pic's of your betta's! Makes choosing just one pretty difficult! I hope the photo album section makes it, the fish are all so good looking! I love you

Lmao! Didn't know whether to comment on his fish pic or be funny, I tried the latter!

I don't actually have any Betta's yet Storm, that's what brought me to this site. I have recently split with my bf, we had a community tank which led to us breeding mollies, guppies and swordtails. I always wanted a Betta but he didn't like them. Now have a small tank of my own set up and am looking to get a pair (and maybe 3 or 4 females eventually).

I have a 18 x 12 x 12 set up now, and am running in a filter for my 36 x 12 x 18. I was thinking of using the little tank for housing the male, the bigger one for the females. I am currently researching potential tank mates and what not to buy (fin nippers etc) in preperation for it all! I know this way leads to madness, but it's a path I've trodden before! lol!

I know... I'm hanging my nose over a few of them!

I still have 'joint ownership' of a few of the community fish! I have to set up my big tank still, but will have my fish to come from his. There are sailfin, lyretail and dalmation mollies to pick from, and their babies. There are also lots of swordtails, I'm having the neon's to try and breed in my small tank (thinking a quieter tank might help!), sanke swords and I also have a bristlenose to come. I think I still have some pic's but not sure how good the quality is! I'll have a look see.

My ex and I didn't have to wait long for it to start... had to get 2 smaller tanks to grow the fry safely! They're full too, but fortunately the lfs has agreed to buy them when they're a bit bigger, for shop credit! I can't figure out how to host my pics? Had a couple of attempts but not sure what I'm supposed to be doing!

Well, he was my ex's, the only fish in a badly kept tank when i met him. I gave him a "telling off" and sorted the tank out, and then went fish shopping! Big Bad Bob was around 12" and possibly 3yrs old. We eventually had to sell him to the lfs (Wharf aquatics) as he kept uprooting everything and stripping the plants bare! Plus the tank was way too small for him really.

    No worries!

They paid half shelf price, I think it was around £10~£12 which went towards the mollies! lol! He was a great gibbo plec, cool with all the other fish coming into his tank, just greedy!
