Ahh gutted Teri, thats a shame! hopefully you'll be able to find a new dragon female to breed him with, what do u recon a good choice of female for mine would be?

Haha Mandy, I work saturdays and sundays and usually a few days in the week, I have spikey hair u cudnt really miss me haha lol! Thanks for the praise lol!
Yeah deffinatly let you guys know whats in when I know.

Im startin to really get into it, especially been on here, but I need to find a cheap financial way of duin it lol! would really like a bigger tank and divide it up for the males and have a seperate tank for females! Want to use my fluval edge as a breeding tank for the male n female. Just dont have enough space for a fry tank Sad. will have to have a think lol. and save lol!

You have the new edge? I have a question for you then! How do you get fish out once they're in?

Yeah I have the edge, and probably one of the best tanks I've owned Smile

Heres some picccies of mine Smile Hope you like Smile

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.].

There fairly straight forward to look after and maintain even tho they look like they could be a pain!
On the last pic, you see the orange lid, well that comes off to reveal an overhang filter at the back, and a hole at the top of the tank, they make a special net to which u can monouver the head and u can get them out that way. but tbh I've never had problems getting live fish out lol!
I love it, one of the best tanks I've had really!
Wish they made it bigger lol!

Where is this picture thread lol? haha :p

I see a potential problem using the Edge as a breeding tank. If he build a bubble nest anywhere near that opening you are really going to struggle to get the girl out without destroying the whole thing..
Second hand tanks are the way to go.. Ebay has some good ones and cheap, keep your eyes open there..

Yeah hoping I will find another dragon to go with him, I do have a red dragon which might be a pretty good match, but till he is a little bit better I dont want to breed him..
As for yours, a nice little HM butterfly girl would be nice Smile

I thought about using it as a breeding tank but the amount of trouble I went through to get the female out after spawning in my corner tank (its got a small opening similar to the fluval) I decided it would be a bad idea. So difficult not to disturb the bubble nest or stress out the dad whilst chasing a panic'd female around with a net and not much room to manouver, needless to say I felt like throwing somthing after about 5 mins Rolling Eyes

Saying that tho it is a gorgeous little tank and looks very chic when set up with plants, yours looks fab btw Smile

I know what you mean for the edge as a breeding tank, would'nt actually be suitable. I think I have a clearseal tank in the loft going spare that I could possibly use, used that before when I had ago at breeding. Ahh yeah I want a dragon maleee badly lol!
Yeah ive put in a request for a 2 females, 1 black green halfmoon and a butterfly halfmoon hopefully in white. We'll see what i get tho lol.

Yeah I do love my edge. Just great, Thanks Magzmoir Smile glad you like it Smile

oo btw Ive seen this male that I really like but he doesnt have a full tale. I cant tell if its deformity or if its going to be a grower lol. I have a pic for you guys, what do you recon??

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I really want him but if i bred from him and its a deformity do you recon it could be passed on?
Its not very obvious but its at the top of his tail!

Hope everyones ok! sorry too so long to reply had a busy few days lol!
    Hope everyones ok Smile

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thats the one in the shop isnt it? I went over today and had 4 ct girls and the little black orchid ct boy Wink

Difficult to see in that pic if its a deformity or if its shipping damage. I would hazard a guess at damage, but dont quote me on it..

Oh Dev, the tank that his is in there are some really nice plants, the big almost cacti looking things.... What are they and how much are they mate? Can you remember??

    ooo ok cool! thanks kel!
Im not sure weather to get him or not! I really want a dragon tho and havnt got much space so may just wait lol!

Ooo Teri, I looked into them plants for you at work mate. We dont have them in anymore, When we ordered them we then found out they were more of a terrarium fake plant, but if you want the ones that are in the tank, can do the three for a tenner mate. There abit snail eaten lol! but I dont think there too bad!

Sorry just replyin had a crazy few days Smile

Cheers for that Dev, dont worry hun, I really want real plants rather than the fake ones. They did look good though..

Just buy the fish you know you want too and you always find room somewhere for another one anyway Wink
