I think Teri or Chard said he was a butterfly or had the gene within him due to the bright red ontop of the white... he was a good fine and still sticking in there after all the problems with the ank *touch wood* thanks for the comment Sarah

He is butterfly line def hun

have a good look at his dorsal though.. looks a bit stuck but could just be the way he is in pics, also near the back of his bottom fin. they look early signs of sticky.

i may be wrong but I mention cos of your pics of those you lost, they looked like they had sticky fins too.. (fins go into a point and look stuck at ends) Not clamped just stuck.. ph, water conditions are main cause but can also be bacterial.. keep an eye on hun, hopefully it's nothing.

    Thanks for confirming Kel.

Its just the pics on his dorsal, when he flears they are not sticking together atall. Okay thanks for the heads up and I will keep close eye on him and others from now on.

so the others wasnt velvet just sticky or what ever you call it? And yes thats correct spikey and stuck together, rather then clamped... right thanks for the information kel.
