They are soooo cute! Now I'm considering one. I used to sell reptiles at a swap meet out in California before changing to Parrots. I miss pulling out that black African tree snake so he would flare out like a cobra and watch the people scatter.

I started with geckos, and i was meant to move onto bigger ones. But kinda stuck with them, they are always a lovely lizard, you dont get many agressive leopard geckos haha. And they are different to one another like people all have their own personailties. And yes we bring the boa out at home and everyone is like wooo, dangerous. and we like no haha. good times

@ Magzmoir, It's OK for CT to scare her guests with her Boa but I can't? It's only in fun, right CT?

lol I was only joking matey Wink its part of the attraction of keeping snakes the fact that some people are a bit afraid of them. I think exotic pets are appealing because of how unusual and interesting they are, people that are afraid can normally come around if they get interested in the animal....but then theres those people who just plain wet themselves at the sight of a spider (like me Embarassed ).

I knew you were joking but yea it was a little mean but I was 21 at the time and thought it was funny. Spiders?,.. not thrilled with them even though I had a turantula. Thunder?,... zzzzzzzzzz, It usually knocks me out. I'll sleep right through a rain storm and wake up then check to see if my Betta's spawned during the storm.

I've opened the front door to 8 inch diameter wolf spiders, Yikes!, come back here with my dog you bad spider you! What kind of snakes do you have? I had a ball python in my pet shop for $80. I got in a shipment of teddybear hamsters one day and when I came in the next morning the python was missing. I found him about 3 feet away from the hamster cage all fat and lumpy. I had to fix his cage and raised his price to $125 to cover the cost of the hamsters.

lol oh I only had a creamsicle corn snake, I probably would have progressed but then I had my son. Hes 2 now but I dont like the idea of having large constricting snakes around when you have a) small children b) chihuahua's and c) rabbits as pets (well technically nathan isnt a pet but he acts like it some times lol). I do love the idea of having another snake and I'd love to have another beardie but I think Im pushing it with the other half with all the tanks I have set up atm lol

and lol @ the snake eating all the hamsters, naughty thing

@ Chard oh der, sorry to hear that you nice snake seems to eat the hamster lol, these things happen though. Did you manage to sell him for that price? I have a female and male Ball python (hoping to breed sometime) Male Rainbow boa and a male Common Boa, We also have 2 female and one male corns snakes. And3 baby corn snakes. A pink tongue skink and the leopard geckos. Dont even ask about the furry animals and the other fish haha.

@magzmoir wow they are a lovely colour. We have a snow, amel, anery and cali and we soon to have another snow and cali. You might be pushing it, but us girls have thr right to push and flutter our eyes we soon get what we want haha. Good luck on getting another snake and beardie if you actually want to after the thinking etc.
