Im loving Rainbows colours so bright, but Violet reminds me of my new boy i got today, Calcifer. Are they both VT's?

Rainbow looks like he might have Butterfly genes working with the red and white fins. I hope Violet doesn't mind the girly name, haha! They both are looking like they have a Grizzled pattern. Very handsome fellows!

Grizzle Betta (GZ) is a patterned Betta. The grizzling shows a random flecking, spotting, or peppering of any iridescent color over a pastel or opaque body. Each of the fins should demonstrate some grizzled pattern. Fins and body should show distinctly two shades of iridescent color (any one of the iridescent colors combined with the lighter pastel or opaque base color). Fish exhibiting an even spread, close to 50% iridescence and 50% lighter base color are preferred. No one grizzle color is preferred over another.

Not necessarily special just one of the many variations in Betta genes. Kind of like marble but not. Some people breed for that color pattern. I had a grizzled Green Halfmoon in my Gold line but never got him to breed and haven't seen it in any of his sibling's offspring. I rather like the scattered pattern of it.

Ive seen quite a few grizzled pattern fish on aquabid, it can be a really pretty pattern to have. Your lucky hun Ive never ever seen any GZ fish in any of the LFS around here Smile nor marbled. The most common colours/type in our LFS are solid and fancy (splashes of many colours).
