| Finally got a better pic of my Yellow Plakat: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And his home (shares with 4 x Shrimp and 2 x Gobies): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I have also purchased another red Crowntail from my local Maidenhead Aquatics (where TADL works) - very pleased with him thus far, bit shy but seems happy enough - chills out under the salvinia (thanks big lad!) or on my vallis: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And an FTS of his home: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Planning an upgrade to a slightly larger tank soon, just need to find the time to do it more than anything else! |

| yellow pk has a bit of an egg spot :S
they can be iffy to sex sometimes but is it def a boy? |

| Not a clue tbh Kel - bought 'it' and my blue one bagged from a local store (Angel Aquatics - Selly Oak) - the blue one has a very round belly - could be females I guess! |

| it's got more of a male outline and a pretty long tail but egg spot is pretty protuded
might be worth holding a mirror up to it, see how it reacts... very pretty though either way |

| Little/no reaction to the mirror - faced directly on then swam away...

| Yeah the yellow betta looks female. Tail looks like a VT...but don't take my word for it, i don't see many VT girls...just boy's. Haych is good at spotting the VT's. Maybe she'll come along and tell me for sure! Still a lovely lil betta. Love the red CT...solid colours are my favourite. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| i think it's a cross.. bottom fin is pk shaped but tail wether it was male or female is more like vt
gorgeous colour and pretty either way |

Ha no way, drive past there every day to work and back! You'd be amazed at how different it all is with all the new roads for the new QE! Be mad when the triangle gets demolished!
TADL works at the Maidenhead Aquatics store in Wythall/Earlswood... well I say work: more like abuses me then leaves me in the pond section with a net! |
