Tarquin dt plakat spawn

This is my spawn with Tarquin (dt plakat) and Ginny (dt plakat). The babies hatched 10/07/09 and will be 8 weeks old on Friday. Here are some pics from spawn till just over a week ago, i will update this week with current pics!

Nest with eggs

Fry 2 days old

Two weeks old

Four weeks old

Six weeks old


At the last count there were 53 however i expect to lose a couple so hoping on 50 surviving!

Thanks everyone, i find it hard not to sit at the tank all day. Ive got quite a few with red fins that have black edging and a few blues, i think most will get mums colouring!

Just let everyone know what happened with the babies, i had 20 survive. I have kept 6 females and one boy, i have no plans to spawn the male. The rest went to my lfs. Here are some pics of them
